Big Bad storms for Texas
We’re already seeing some Big Bad storms across West Texas this afternoon with more to come this evening.
A few severe thunderstorm warnings have already been issued around the Lubbock, TX area. The main threats from these storms will be hail and damaging winds. A few tornadoes are also possible.
HRRR picking up on more storms firing up around 7:00pm.
Models show more Big Bad storms firing up between now and 7:00pm. They will then march eastward as they fizzle out a little bit overnight.
Next round of even Bigger Badder storms will come tomorrow for many of the same areas. We will be watching!
