College of DuPage Weather Lab
The College of DuPage has put together a very useful website that is free to use. The graphics are clean and attractive and all of the data loads in fast. Just about everything you need to make a forecast, you can find on this site.
Includes surface and upper air maps. You can also find Skew-T diagrams from all across the United States.
Includes visible and infrared satellite images. You can also see a mosaic radar loop for the U.S., or see live radar at individual radar sites.
Browse through still and looped models including the HRRR, RAP, NAM, GFS, RPDS, and the CFSv2.
Here, you can see text messages from the SPC, and NWS. You can browse for text forecasts and discussions for individual weather offices across the country.
Model Output Statistics
You can look at the numerical output from the NAM, GFS, and GFSX for any weather station in the United States. Select multiple sites at one time if you like, and click the submit button at the bottom of the page.
Tropical Tidbits
Tropical Tidbits offers data from some of the same models as DuPage, but also has some limited access to the European Model.
