Some Big Bad storms for the Plains

Adjustments.jpeg

We’re watching an overnight chance of storms that could become big bad storms.

An large area of the southern plains has been highlighted in a Slight Risk by the Storm Prediction Center. This includes sections of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The bad part about this is the timing.

Models show these expected storms to develop after midnight but before sunrise Tuesday. So many people will be asleep when these storms are ongoing.

Tornadoes are not the main threat from these storms, but certainly not completely out of the question. Hail and strong winds will be your two main concerns.
