Some Rain on Monday

We are seeing some rain from East Texas over into Mississippi and Alabama this morning. Fortunately, it’s just rain. We’ll look for more scattered showers this morning and afternoon, dying down for those areas this evening.

Overnight, a storm system will move through Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. There is a risk that some of those storms could get Big and Bad. The bigger concern is that if they do, it will happen during the nighttime when most folks will be sleeping. So, now is a good time to make sure, if you live in those areas that you have a storm alert system set up and ready to go.
