We’ve had a few Severe Thunderstorms in the ArkLaTex to start off the day. And, while we’ve been telling you we were expecting Big Bad Storms today, these aren’t it. This is the preview, not the main attraction.

The bigger threat we are expecting overnight tonight. Take a look below at the HRRR model for around midnight tonight.

You can see the line of storms from the DFW Metroplex all the way up through Little Rock and into southern Illinois. That line will drive south overnight. By daybreak Wednesday morning, it will be down along the Gulf Coast from Houston over to New Orleans.

This is the bigger threat we’re expecting tonight, and we may need to launch the Big Bad Weather Blog overnight to keep you updated as it passes.
