Afternoon Storms in Virginia

This afternoon, there is a small risk for some Big Bad Storms from Virginia up into Pennsylvania. This doesn’t look like it’s going to be a major outbreak, but certainly thunder and lightning are likely as a squall line develops and travels east this evening.

There will also be some rains along the East Coast further south and down into Florida. Those don’t look like big storm systems at this point and should mostly just bring rain.

After this system moves off into the Atlantic, the entire county gets a bit of a break. There’s not much precipitation expected anywhere in the Continental U.S. until next week!
