Rain returns to the South
The next batch of rain picks up Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Hi-resolution models continue to show increasing rain chances after lunchtime Tuesday. The heaviest band of rain looks to be along the I-20 corridor and just south. This will include areas from Lufkin, TX to Shreveport, LA down to Alexandria, Ruston, Monroe, and stretch to Jackson, MS.
Most models agree that a line of rain and storms will develop along the I-30 corridor Tuesday morning and then fade away. This will cause a second line of rain and storms to develop between 1-3pm closer to the I-20 corridor. Some rain will be possible at just about any point tomorrow, but it will be more spotty till the afternoon.
