What We’re Seeing
We’re always on the lookout for the next storm. Check back daily to see what we’re seeing so you’ll always be ready for what’s coming across the horizon.
A Line of Storms Overnight
You can see the line of storms from the DFW Metroplex all the way up through Little Rock and into southern Illinois. That line will drive south overnight. By daybreak Wednesday morning, it will be down along the Gulf Coast from Houston over to New Orleans.
This is the bigger threat we’re expecting tonight, and we may need to launch the Big Bad Weather Blog overnight to keep you updated as it passes.
A line of Big Bad storms for Tuesday
Another round of Big Bad storms looks likely from Oklahoma into the Gulf Coast states Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.

We are getting a brief break from the rain in the South Central U.S. We’re not expecting any rain in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas or Oklahoma today, and only a few showers tomorrow.
Some Big Bad storms for the Plains
We’re watching an overnight chance of storms that could become big bad storms
Some Rain on Monday
We are seeing some rain from East Texas over into Mississippi and Alabama this morning. Fortunately, it’s just rain. We’ll look for more scattered showers this morning and afternoon, dying down for those areas this evening.
Soaking Start
Fortunately, this rain is not creating Big Bad Storms to go along with them. It’s basically just rain.
Tornado Watch Issued
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas through 10:00 tonight. This is part of a larger system that’s slowly moving through the Southern Plains and into the Mississippi River Valley this evening.
